Released in 1997, Somnambulist Homesick Blues was Bluebottle Kiss' only original release on vinyl and their last recording on the Murmur (Sony) label before parting ways.

Love As Fiction Records was started by a long time Bluebottle Kiss fan to re-release this EP again for the first time in 25 years. The EP has been produced by agreement under licence from Sony Australia.

This re-release is 180gm vinyl with the original artwork updated and restored for 2022 and a new master based on the original CD mix, the EP was remastered for vinyl again by Chris Hanzsek at Hanszek Audio.

The limited edition records (150) have been produced and are in stock for dispatch (release date 31 July 2022). Ships within 7 days of order.

The majority of the records have been pre-sold as part of the initial start up, therefore the only remaining copies are available now and no more will be made.

Love As Fiction Records aims to produce copies of the remaining Bluebottle Kiss back catalogue (on the Sony Murmur label) if the future, if this release is successful and there is sufficient interest from the fans! We may even look at other bands and artists.
